Who is it for?

The workshop is open to individuals who would like to explore and enhance their relationship to creativity. It is designed for all levels of artistic ability and curiosity.  It is an opportunity to give oneself permission to create, and explore the creative process in a non-judgemental process oriented group.

The focus is on the PROCESS of creating, NOT the final product.

Exploring Our Relationship to Creativity

In this hands-on art making workshop you will be gently guided through a series  of creative invitations and explorations to better understand your thoughts, feelings, and limiting beliefs about your ability to create.  Allow the process to unfold as you engage a variety of materials enabling you to come away with a deeper understanding of yourself, self expression, and you're creative process.

In person for adult participants.

Thursday June 26th 6:15pm-8:15pm

Aurora, Ontario

Using the Creative Process as a Tool for Exploring Challenges

Art making can be a powerful and soothing way to explore life's challenges.  The process of externalizing our experience through the creation of images can invite space, and at times shift our relationship to challenges.

In this workshop, participants will be guided to complete a series of pictures exploring a chosen stuck point in their lives. Gently moving through the creative process, participants can gain new insights, uncover hidden perspectives, and identify possible pathways and alternatives for moving forward.  Participants will come away with hands-on interventions for using art making to enhance problem solving.

In person for adult participants.

Thursday July 24 6:15pm-8:15pm

Aurora, Ontario

All images, skill sets, and abilities are welcomed with warmth and respect.

Registration Information

Participants can register for one of both workshops.  The fee for each workshop is $95 for the 2 hours of group art therapy.  All art materials and supplies will be provided.

This group may be covered by some extended health insurance plans.
